Community Service

Community Service

Community service is one of Rotary’s Avenues of Service and it encourages Rotarians to offer service to their communities. Every Rotary club and every Rotarian assume a responsibility to find ways to improve the quality of life for those in their communities and to serve the public interest. Particular emphasis is given to helping children, needy families, the aged, the handicapped, and those most in need of assistance. Rotarians strive to promote the ideal of service in their personal, business, and community lives.

Some recent community projects include:

  • American Flag Fundraiser – The American Flag Fundraiser allows you to show your patriotism while supporting local projects and youth programs throughout the parish.
  • Support of the Good Samaritan Food Bank – Throughout the year the Club raises money to help support the local food bank.
  • Veteran’s Project – The Club creates starter kits for Homeless Veterans in our community as they embark on a new beginning on life.
